Welcome to Sherman Racing
Hi all and welcome to the Sherman Racing blog!!
I am excited to finally have something up and running to showcase my 'hobby', and look forward to having a ton of visitors to the site. Bare with my while I figure out the features of this thing; I will do my best to keep it as interesting as possible.
Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Mitch Sherman. I live in Pocatello, ID and have been snowmobiling for about 12 years. I am married, have 2 kids, and work as Director of Project Controls for Dance Designs, Inc. I have been racing Semi-Pro on the RMSHA circuit for about 5 years hoping to get consistent enough to reach the Pro ranks. After a few bismal years as R&S Racing some changes were made all around in an attempt to become a bigger contender on the circuit. R&S Racing became Sherman Racing about 2 years ago and has consisted of myself and my dad, Rick Sherman. For the 2009 season and future seasons, we have teamed up with Brian (131) & Cory (161) Simmons of Simmons Brothers Racing in an effort to reduce overall costs. For the 2010 season I am excited to announce that Sherman Racing has switched to the Ski-Doo XP hillclimb sleds in an effort to top off the consistency gained in 2009.
Thanks for visiting, and stay tuned for some exciting race action this winter. I will try to get as many updates and pics/vids as possible to keep everyone informed of what's going on.
Later
